Hold it together

when I feel overwhelmed my mind races,
my heart paces,
as my whole body spins,
internal arguments, no one wins,

I try to contain it and hold it back,
but its a internal attack,
but I hold it together,
so it doesn't seem like it lasts forever,

I talk myself down,
remind myself its ok to frown,
but I never gave in,
cause If I hold it together, I know I'll win.
