on the other side
when I reach the golden gates of heaven,
and im ticket number eleven,
will you be waiting on the other side to greet me,
with that same smile, like life used to be,
when I take those steps towards you,
will you be in the other side walking too,
until we meet in the middle together,
like life was meant to be forever,
on the other side smiling,
holding my hand so inviting,
waiting for me while I approach you,
into the clouds and the sky blue.

Hey it’s been awhile since we’ve spoke ,
I miss your funny jokes,
Guess what I’m starting school on Monday ,
Yeah it’s finally happening , it will be a fun day ,
I know you wanted me to do well,
And I’m doing it , so I hope it jells,
I hope your proud to see me achieve,
And thanks for always believing,
I’m doing a math class,
I know you would glock it blast,
Cause you never liked math like me,
But I’m moving forward can’t you see,
I’m doing this and I hope your proud,

I gotta my stitches out,
third times the charm, I didn't even shout,
this new year has been great so far ,these days,
I've missed you in so many ways.
I started school, I have a test coming up,
yeah they always make me jump.
I've been staring at the sky,
missing you looking for your eyes,
when the wind blows,
it makes my heart go,
its like kisses in the wind,
and I know where you've been,
may your days be as beautiful as mine,
is life up there as Devine,
as earths beautiful miracles I've seen,
I just wanna know where you've been,
what life brings
Lately you’ve been on my mind,
I realize it hard to find,
A moment where your not on my mind,
A thought, a picture or a moment I find,
Reminds me of you,
Something funny a memory of something we used to do,
I laugh in my head or sometimes out loud,
By myself or in a crowd,
Of a simple moment that reminds me of you,
And people stare but they didn’t know us like we do,
I caught myself thinking of all the silly things,
And all the beautiful moments life brings.
