2020

This new year I wish nothing but the best,

To myself and my friends and the rest,

I wish for strength and happiness through out ,

Here and when I’m going about,

I hope life is fuller than before,

And I open more doors,

And that my fears diminish ,

And more things get finished,

So if I don’t complete it all ,

Let my strength catch me when I fall,

And if this year brings back fears,

I won’t give in to my tears. 

A sense of relaxation

on the beach by the bay,
is where i sit back and i lay,
as i brush my hands against the sand,
feeling completely grounded on the land,

i can hear the waves through the breeze,
the sunshine and the palm trees,
the water between my toes,
sea air through my nose,

messy hair filled with sand,
sunsets wouldn't it be grand,
a piece of relaxation,
such a revelation.

No matter where we are

As the days go by,

I realize it’s not just me myself and I,

I  can make my own happiness ,

And I confess, 

I thought life would be hard without you,

Cause every now and then I miss you ,

But life will go and I will be strong,

No matter how far the journey or how long,

You were my best friend,

And it won’t end,

Cause no matter where we are,

Your the sun the moon and the stars. 

Brave

The longer your away,

The stronger I get each and every day,

As your whisper positivity in my ear,

And your soul reminds me your always here,

And as I grow older ,

The stronger I get and the bolder ,

And now I realize you’ll always be with me,

On earth and heaven we will always be,

Somewhat connected inside ,

You taught be to be brave and never hide. 

Scrolling

When I scroll through my phone ,

I’m stuck as I freeze , I’m stuck in stone,

I miss texting you about my day,

Cause if it was bad you would know what to say,

I miss your jokes cause they make me smile,

It’s like your sitting next to me for a while,

Cause when I scroll down and see our photos together,

The memories of us seem to last  forever.

You light the world

Your light up my world everyday,

And when your gone you give me signs what to say,

You guide me through it all,

A voice in the dark that keeps me standing tall ,

I learned a lot from you and strength so I won’t fall,

I’ve learned so much from you ,

Who knew what you can learn from someone new ,

Your a candle lighting my way,

And when burn out your soul will always stay,

And as I was growing you grew with me,

As we became who we wanted to be,

We struggled, we flew,

A power pair us two.

Sometimes when I'm weak,
I find it hard to speak,
I think of you often and I hope,
I can be as strong as you can cope,

You were so brave enough to fly,
I was so scared to try ,
But you gave me wings to soar ,
And showed me so much more ,

I find hope in your story ,
Like a superhero and your glory ,
I've missed your moments ,
The ones we've got and owned it

Angels

I  never believed in angels till now,
How when people die become beautiful souls, I don't know how,
The spirit can live within us when we are alone,
As your spirit with the isn't set in stone,

On Earth you were a butterfly,
And now your missing why,
Does a butterfly turn into a angel,
My protector from danger,

Your with the angels above ,
The sweet white doves,
A butterfly to an angel inside,
A hero that won't hide
