As the night settled in ,
And asked god to forgive my sins,
I looked up and prayed for you,
And to heal all the pain you went through,
I pray for you to feel better,
and when the rain falls your tears won’t make it wetter,
I pray that whatever tomorrow will bring,
Is the joy your heart brings that makes me sing,
But as long as the night falls through,
I’ll always pray for you ,
Until the sun fades away,
And the night turns to day.
