Unexpected turns

In my life , I’ve been down so many roads,

I’ve carried so much internal loads, 

My heart has been broken a few times,

And I’ve told a few lies,

But my life has been nothing but a journey of unexpected turns,

I’ve gain and lost friends and it does burn,

But I’ve had many good times,

That was worth the climb,

I’ve been down roads that had a dead end,

Lost people who I called friends,

I’ve been down roads and I had to turn back,

Just to heal the crack,

My mind and soul has been lifted,

As my inner spirit has shifted,

It was the unexpected turns in my path,

That conquered my inner wrath
