Time has gone by,
And really I wonder why,
You have to go,
But deep inside I already know,
Time with me and my family is up,
But honestly I can’t get enough,
Time is just a number in my head,
But my heart remembers the memories we shared instead,
It’s been a journey no doubt it’s been a blast,
But I’m grateful for all the lessons in the past,
But no matter where our stories go,
I’m thankful for you and I know,
Nothing will feel the same to me,
No matter when I’m full of glee,
My heart will always feel the warmth of you,
But I won’t forget all the things you do.
