ive tried many times,
written many rhymes,
ive dipped my feet in and tested the water,
only to be hurt and to be pushed farther,
im scared to jump in again,
knowing the same thing can happen then,
im growing in what I thought I wanted,
feeling lost and haunted,
my heart can beat when scarred,
being hit and caught off guard,
I can keep trying and fighting,
knowing I might hit lighting,
im not gonna jump in cause im scared,
knowing the feeling is still there,
