Diabetes

Diabetes

as I lay down tuck in tight,
Ready for the night ,
the clocks ticking and I’m thinking of you,
All the things we used to do,

I remember you told me you had diabetes,
I can now relate completely,
You would know what to say,
To make my fears go away,

Many of my memories are so much like yours ,
We’ve walked so far, opened many doors,
We are on similar paths similar roads ,
Who knows where it goes.
