You painted a picture

In a world so hard to understand,

You showed me how to make life not bland ,

You opened my eyes to a world unseen ,

You opened up  my world, showed me the lines in between,

You made something complex simple,

Made me feel unique right down to the dimple ,

You showed me the path towards the light,

As you guided me through the night,

You cherished my time,

I reflected your memory in rhyme ,

You guided me through,

I see clear thanks to you .
