Swans 

At first I thought I would never love again,

I know I’m young to say this but I felt that then,

I’m like a swan , you have one partner for life,

Through happiness and strife,

If one died the other was in deep sorrow,

But I’m going strong each and every tomorrow ,

You were my soul mate for life ,

Through happy days and strife ,

And when you left me on earth,

I had to find my worth,

Love myself and love again,

Wait for it or when ,

I love like that again,

Being a good friend .
