I felt the need to always be brave,

And I will take my bravery to my grave,

I had a lot of times I needed to be strong,

And bravery is how I lasted this long,

I’m brave for all the times I had to be an adult when I was a child,

I had to be brave when life’s

Emotions made me wild,

There was never a time I wasn’t brave,
