Just so you know

Sometimes my feelings get the best of me,
I can’t always be a strong me,
Sometimes I try to brush it off my shoulder,
But it hits me personally like a boulder,

I try and act quote on quote normal  around you,
But sometimes it’s something I can’t do,
I don’t wanna embarrass you at all,
But it’s my way or I’ll fall ,

I try And consider your feelings ,
But I’m trying , it’s surrealing,
I don’t want you to feel my mental illness is an issue ,
Cause I’m me and I won’t dismiss you ,

I’ll try hard to be what’s right,
To be a sister , a friend through the night,
But just so you know it’s me,
Even through the illness I’m still gonna be me.
