At peace
It has finally come together,
That you are gone forever,
It finally hit me and I’m okay,
That I won’t see you everyday,
I’m at peace from the pain,
It washed over me like rain,
I’m sad but I’m okay,
And I can go on day by day,
I’m able to breathe easy,
Life without you won’t be breezy ,
But I’m at ease knowing your okay,
I’m healed by the sadness of you being gone each day.
