as I lay down

as I lay down on a patch of grass,
the tears that fall crystalize like glass,
I think of you up in heaven above,
knowing your with people up there that I love,

I lie down to be one with the earth,
feeling my love in its roots , feeling my worth,
but I look up in the sky,
to realize your right there by my side,

your spirt flows in the wind around me,
reminding me lifes worth when you set me free,
as I lay down and look up at the sky,
I realize the reasons and answers to all the why's.
