This poem is about school shootings. It’s kinda dark but it’s about how anger doesn’t solve anything and how people can lose their lives instantly.
It’s like something out of a nightmare,
And no one was aware ,
That things could end this way,
That Children’s lives could end that day,
It’s just an ordinary day ,
Being driven to School the same way,
As everyday of the week,
Yet it could be the last day they speak,
The killer maybe familiar maybe new,
But he approached the school out of the blue,
To bring terror into lives of the innocent,
And then pretend To go on as a normal citizen,
The anger consumed him, maybe hate, maybe he had a plan,
He sure did when he had a gun in his hand,
When he shot those innocent children to the floor,
And many many more,
But anger doesn’t make it better,
Despite what you do, it doesn’t keep you safe like a sweater,
It tares you down as you shoot the town,
Nothing but pain, regrets and scarred frowns.
