Wish

I sit  all warm and relaxed by the fire,
Drinking my warm hot chocolate with desire,
The fire sparks like little fireworks in the dark sky,
As the marshmallows roast and the birds fly so high,

The sounds of the crickets sing their song,
As I sit warmly next to the fire all night long,
I slowly  look up at the sky,
As I see a shooting star flying by,

And I close my eyes and make a vow,
I reminisce all the memories and remember how,
Far I’ve come and where I’ve been,
What I know and what I’ve seen,

It’s a vow to be happy and grow,
With the knowledge and the truth I know
