I’ve touched the sun

It’s been dark so much of my life,

as the pain consumes me and the strife,

So hidden from the light,

Only blending in with the night,

But I can finally say I’m closer to that sunny place,

The happy memories and the genuine smile on my face,

I can finally touch the sun,

It’s like I was reborn and my new life has just begun,

I can feel the warm colors and the beautiful breeze,

My prayers answers and the swaying of the trees,

My mind and soul won’t have  darkness  in my life any more ,

Knowing that I opened a new door,

I’m in touch with the here and now , the sun and moon,

Knowing the sun is shining and coming soon.
