We give thanks

We gather together,

To celebrate what we never,

Seem to appreciate before,

Now we can focus on it more,

We give thanks for what we have done,

To all the places and the fun,

We’ve had with family and friends,

We give thanks and make amends,

We give thanks for the little things we take for granted,

Even with all the negativity we have implanted ,

We are thankful for the pain and sorrow,

Who changed who we are and made our tomorrow ,

As we gather we can give thanks to how fortunate we are,

For all the things and the stars,

We give thanks for the journey and the moments,

All the happiness you own it,

We give thanks for the pain,

The sadness and the rain,

The sunshine and the flowers,

The strength and the inner power.
