Hunger

As we gather around the table to eat,
Friends and family , we all greet,
Someone’s all alone hungry and cold,
Searching through the dump for old,

Food to keep his family fed,
And a place to keep them warm instead ,
Of a empty cold hard floor,
Praying for no more ,

Hard days and hard nights,
No pain and no fright,
From hungry and the Demons of his past,
Wondering how long it will last,

Yet the rich and the poor gather to pray,
Greatful for everything everyday,
They pray for everything to be better ,
No matter the size or the weather.
