its hard to forget the pain of the past,

but holding on makes the pain last,

its hard to find courage and strength on your own,

but the more you learn the more you know,

and when life seems hard to bare,

and people you feel don't care,

remember the scars of the past,

and fight cause its not impossible, the pain wont last,

remember the person you were before,

open that new door,

remember its not impossible,

to create the possible.

I fought through the pain,

endured thunder and rain,

but the fight Is till in me,

cause the war isn't over, I can see,

the horizon beyond the dark skies,

the hope in the terror behind those eyes,

I stand behind the inner strength I have

cause its the only thing that gets me down, that ave,

avenue of pain, and heart ache,

internal and external break,

but no pathway will diminish my fire,

burning with strength and desire.

Old feelings

You know the feeling ,where you still have feelings ,
Life makes emotions so surrealing,
It doesn’t work out , but you never forget ,
You move on but it’s still there ,you bet,

Your life you would find a new ,
But the old feeling keeps popping up out of the blue,
Sentimental feelings of the past,
Wanting them to last ,

But your past feelings for him ,
Dulled but never dimmed ,
The oldest feeling,
Is the strongest reeling

These roads may be Broken

the roads I've traveled may be broken,
but I've taken it with a token,
of gratitude and luck,
with hope I don't get stuck,

the pathway may be broken down,
and I might have a frown,
but life isn't a perfect path,
in the world full of peace and wrath,

it may seem confusing,
the roads and decisions im choosing,
but its never a perfect straight direction,
to experience reflection.

Clouds

I look up at the sky,
as the clouds break apart and I wonder why,
the clouds seem so similar to my life,
with all the happiness and strife,

the spaces between the clouds in the sky,
remind me of the growth between the years and the moments I've cried,
it shows how broken things can be beautiful ,
and how life is plentiful,

the clouds show the distance between growth and the past,
a journey that forever will last,
the sky also represents my mood,
the darks the grays and the blues.

Remembering you so close to valentine’s day

I’ll remember all the good times together,

We will walk on in our journey forever ,

May our souls be free from pain,

As our happiness releases like rain,

We will have our moments where we heal ,

Knowing our relationship is real, when you left the world forever,

I knew our bond would never sever,

And everyday I think of you,

All the things we used to do,

When I’m sad I think of you ,

And I’m happy for everything you do. 

Be Happy with what you've got

be happy with the family you have now,

the people who helped you grow and showed you how,

to live with strength, courage and independence,

have love when life is full of resentment,

be happy with the size,

cause having a family is a prize,

love them cause you wont have another,

love your sisters and your brothers,

be happy with the love you get,

cause not all people have it yet,

love them cause they matter most,

when life moves on, keep them close.
