The veins are the map of you

my blood flows like the water in a stream,
as my heart shines like a star that gleams,
The brain is the center destination,
as the veins are the map to my salvation,

The veins are the broken turns of the past,
showing all the bumps in the roads that last,
it showed how many times I had to turn around,
listening to the heart beat sound,

it marks all the places I've stoped,
and the baggage I've dropped ,
it shows all the pain I've endured,
and all the moments that were so pure,

it marks the events of the past,
the plans of the future that may not last,
the change of older me,
the proof of what you can see,.

The Child With in Me

Stuck in a fairytale which is my reality ,
searching for my true sanctuary,
feeling lost trying to navigate the world around me,
emotionally so young, lost in what I want the world to be,

The world isn't happiness and imagination,
its full with emotions and temptations,
trying so hard to find the path meant for me,
when nothing around me feels the same like i dreamt they'd be,

Im overloaded with senses,
since when is life so full of tenses,
past , present future, now,
when did my mom teach me how,

to navigate the mapless world of me,
im blinded to a world I can't see,
confused traveler , lost visitor,
in a world full of beauty and still feels sinister.

identity

Identity

Where do I stand?
In the middle of foreign land,
Struggling to find my identity,
But afraid of superiority.

Confused on my values and cultures,
Constantly feeling like a unchanging vulture,
Trying to fit in,
Without feeling like I committed a sin,

I don’t want to disassociate myself.
To fit in with the common wealth,
Struggling to find comfort,
Finding salvation some sort,

As I try to stand tall.
As I adjust to it all.

poverty

Poverty

Children waiting anxiously, knowing their living a life in misery,
Suffering from poor health and injury,
Lack of happiness and salvation down the poverty line,
As parents fight to pay their fines,

Food is scares; Sanitation is low,
lack of options as people revert to drugs they blow,
Low rates and famine spreading,
emptiness is what the children are embedding,

Human rights don’t exist.
No employment benefits,
In the slums nothing but poverty,
Life full of jeopardy .

mind of a traveler

Mind of a traveler

I close my eyes the somber color in the sky,
Makes me wonder the answered why’s,
My heart feels one , yet my mind lingers ,
Like a broken chord of a lost singer ,

The somber mood through the bright sunshine,
Makes the contrast in my mind blind,
The echoes are like loud whispers and innuendos ,
Calm like crescendos.

Baby

Baby

Hey baby,
When life is grey and hazy,
Your the contrast, maybe,
Its just my head spinning,
But with you I’m alive, so I’m living ,

I’m sometimes stir crazy,
But when it comes to love I ain’t lazy,
Cause your my heart ,
Together or apart ,

My mind maybe running miles,
But when I’m with you , I smile like a child,
And my face turns bright red,
When life without you seems misspent.

Pondering my muse

Pondering my muse .

When I’m weak,
I stride on ,to you my mountain peak,
When I’m sad ,
I sing the song to your heart that makes me glad,
And when life seems so blue,
Your the reason I know what to do,

Your aurora shines bright ,
Brighter than the darkest night,
Stronger than the brightest star,
And I know we can go far,

Your my sunshine and my
Rain ,
My cloudy skies my darkest days ,
Your my inspiration for many poems and verses,
Your the muse that flourishes .
