Our love is Like the sun and the moon

Our love flows like a river,
So strong , it’s only getting bigger,
The way we feel ,
Is the imagery of what’s real,

As your strength lifts me up,
As calm as the oceans tides jumps,
Your the sea breeze,
The love connection through the trees,

Your a constant boat,
As our love stays a float,
Your the light in the misty fog,
The fresh air through the smog,

My heart canals travel to you,
As the sun and moon circle through

When I close my eyes

When I’m alone ,I close my eyes ,
I think of you and my mind flies,
I imagine all the times we’ve spent together,
And all the memories the seem to last forever,

At night my heart beats like a drum,
Knowing your the one I love,
My heart is insync with your heart,
Together or apart,

And even when I’m awake,
My heart will never ache,
Cause even when your gone,
The sun always appears at dawn ,

So even when I’m doing okay, I
close my eyes as your voice is on replay,
You make me smile inside and out,
And then I realize that’s what loves about.

Content not time

Time goes by so fast,
I want to make the good ones last,
But when time seems so fly by,
You realize it’s only a temporary high,

To a long term thrill,
Don’t forget the drill,
Live moments by events ,
And don’t count time life’s common sense,

So don’t sugarcoat it ,
Live with it don’t quit ,
Shower the memories don’t focus on time,
The content not the rhyme.

The strength with in

I’m proud to say that he has improved day by day,
I’m proud to admit,
He’s changed bit by bit,
And no matter what came his way,
He wanted to turn it around any day ,

He made the sun shine when it was grey,
He made world spin round when it didn’t want to stay,
He changed when life brought him down,
His strength and determination turned it around,

I admire your strength cause it’s clear,
Your story should be heard in every ear,
Cause you changed when life got hard your a star,
You shined like gold that you are.

The light from the candle

The light from the candle ( poem for Yom Kippur)

For all those who are now at peace,
We light a candle for their calm release,
We remember our loved ones from above,
Lighting a candle in their love ,

We remember the ones who loved us,
The ones we admired and had trust,
We light a candle in spirit of their life,
In happiness and strife,

We light it till the burn is gone,
As the light shines all through till dawn,
We remember all of the fallen we love,
So they rest peacefully above.

We maybe far apart,
But we are closer in our hearts,
Your far away but your standing near,
It’s like your presence is always here,

Your voice is like the wind traveling with me,
The warm touch of the sun reminds me I don’t have to be,
Alone , your always there,
When I’m lost ,alone , I don’t care,

Your always there by my side ,
Whether it’s physical or Spiritual your my guide,
I’m not alone miles won’t come between us,
Cause our hearts are close enough that I trust,

Your always there,
And that shows how deeply you care.

Remember 9/11

All souls risk their lives for us,
Angels live on for our freedom and trust,
Their hero’s , family members and friends ,
From that dark moment to the end,

The live on in spirit and in history,
Lost lives bring so much misery ,
Yet we all remember that day,
In our prayers in our own way,

It was hate that brought pain,
Tears that fell marked us like rain,
Hero’s  that fell on that day,
Are the stories we carry on today.
